Buntline fisherman's bend. This bend is an amalgamation of a buntline hitch and a fisherman's bend, and was first described by John Mellor in an article published by Yachting Monthly magazine in 1974. It is used to secure particularly slippery ropes to anchor rings, bollards, spars, or anywhere that a fisherman's bend would otherwise be used.

The English name of an hotel that has a French equivalent form; the specific in "Dalvay-by-the-Sea Hotel National Historic Site (P.E.I.)", a national historic site managed by Parks Canada. This national historic site is located in the Prince Edward Island National Park. "Dalvay-by-the-Sea" is the name given to the summer home by Sir John A. MacDonald, from the name of his birthplace in Scotland; the structure has been made into a hotel.
